Meeting with Clarkston

This week, the NEST team had the incredible opportunity to meet with Mr. Jeremy Cole, who has worked closely with the Clarkston Refugee Center and the broader Clarkston community. Mr. Cole’s experience and connections provided invaluable insight into how we can expand our programs and reach more students.

During our meeting, Mr. Cole shared his deep knowledge of the local community, highlighting both the challenges and opportunities that students face in accessing educational resources. He generously connected us with a number of new students who could benefit from NEST’s business and financial literacy programs, opening the door for a wider and more diverse participation in our initiatives.

In addition, he provided guidance on engaging with local schools and organizations, including Clarkston High School and other youth programs in the area. His suggestions will help NEST refine our outreach strategy, ensuring that we can connect with students who are most in need of support and opportunities to learn entrepreneurial skills.

Thanks to this collaboration, we are excited to expand our program and create more pathways for young entrepreneurs to thrive. We are grateful for Mr. Cole’s time, expertise, and dedication to the Clarkston community, and we look forward to continuing to work together to empower students through education, mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences.
