The NEST Family

Meet The Founder

Kubby Bhatia founded NEST Business Education & Competition after returning from the LaunchX entrepreneurship program, where he helped develop a startup called Auris alongside other student innovators. During that experience, he realized how many young people have creative, impactful ideas but never receive the opportunity or guidance to explore them. While many nonprofits focus primarily on academics, tutoring, or traditional enrichment, Kubby saw a lack of spaces where underserved youth could creatively solve real-world problems through entrepreneurship.

As a sophomore at The Westminster Schools, Kubby created NEST to make business education and startup opportunities more accessible, personal, and community-driven. The goal was not simply to teach students how to build companies, but to help them develop confidence, creativity, leadership, and the ability to turn ideas into meaningful change. Through workshops, mentorship, startup competitions, and seed funding opportunities, NEST gives students the chance to explore entrepreneurship regardless of their background or financial situation.

Now, after two years with the organization, Kubby has helped grow NEST far beyond its original vision. What began as a local initiative in Atlanta has expanded internationally, including outreach efforts in China through a network of like-minded student entrepreneurs dedicated to empowering the next generation of innovators. At the same time, as a member of the Coalition of Refugee Services, NEST has deepened its commitment to serving refugee communities, particularly Muslim refugees who have endured immense hardship, by providing entrepreneurship education, mentorship, and opportunities for growth. Through it all, NEST remains focused on creating a supportive and accessible environment where students can turn their ideas into meaningful impact.

Our Team

Dev Katarya (Left), Ryan Sanchez (Center Right), and Dylan Yu (Right) complete the founding team. They are Westminster students united by their passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and social change. Each founder brings a unique perspective across different areas of business and impact, allowing NEST to approach entrepreneurship education from multiple angles.

Together, they design curriculum, lead lessons, and work directly with student startups to help young entrepreneurs develop their ideas into real-world solutions. Through their combined experiences and interests, they are building a community that empowers students to think creatively, solve problems, and create lasting impact.
